Hidden Gem

Tell Me About It

Congratulations, you've struck gold. This gem is as hidden as they come. This place makes one thing, and one thing only; Perhaps the best Turkish to ever find its true calling within a fresh pita.

This family 2nd generation family owned restaurant was established in 1963 by Leon Najari, a retired cop who used to work in that same intersection where the restaurant resides. Najari bought a decommissioned public bus, and did what he knows best - making Turkish kebabs. Years later the bus is gone, but Nagari's family is still making the same excellent kebab.

Word of caution, when you finish your first pita, an overwhelming fear that you may never have this kebab-in-pita again will overcome you, and make you go get another one. Or at least half a pita.
