If you've had enough of the Jaffa style hummus, and looking for a more hipster approach to hummus, then this is the place. A long time local favorite, Mashawasha is perhaps the finer version of hummus, great for those of you with a more refined palette. They use high quality olive oil, fresh mushrooms and all in all you can just taste the difference.

For first timers, we recommend you get the Mashawsha (duh..) with mushrooms and tehini on top. Also, the fresh lemonade is very refreshing :)

Mashawsha isn't a large place, and if you're coming on Friday for lunch, be ready to wait in line for as much as 45 minutes with the rest of the locals.
