When you hear "Jaffa", you'd probably think there's a hummus place on every corner, but sadly that's not the case. Finding excellent hummus isn't as it easy as it would seem, as not all hummus was created equal.

Lucky for you, we know all the best spots. And this local spot, that's also borderline a hidden-gem, is some locals' favorite hummus. But that's not all, this place is also a full blown restaurant, so you can also get grilled meat and fish and a large assortment of side dishes (yes, there's also falafel).

If that's not enough for you, this place is the exact opposite of a "stubborn-chef", they'll pretty much do whatever you want. And that's where we tell you a secret! Most people just have Hummus and Messabaha, and preferably together. But in Lebanon, where this combination is rumored to have originated from, they add "Labane" on top, which is an authentic type of white cheese. So yes, you can ask to add Labane on your hummus here, and you'll probably be surprised that it actually works. But keep in mind it's not for everyone.
